Dr Chinmoy SAHU

Chinmoy Sahu is Assistant Dean for Finance Programmes. His role involves development of finance programmes for executive education besides teaching various finance and accounting courses across different academic programmes offered by U21Global. In 2008, Dr Sahu received the Excellence in Online Education Award by U21Global in recognition of his contributions to online teaching. He has more than a decade of experience in holding postgraduate courses in finance and accounting. His areas of research are in financial reporting, behavioural finance and cost management.
Prior to joining U21Global, Dr Sahu was Chairman, Finance and Economics, at the Institute of Management, Nirma University of Science and Technology in Ahmedabad, India, where he had also headed the three-year executive MBA programme. Besides an international conference, he has organised regular sessions where CFOs of successful enterprises have shared their vision on specific themes.
His work has been published in international scholarly journals from India and the United States. Dr Sahu is the lead editor of Managing Finance and Growth: Emerging Issues and Challenges (New Delhi: Excel Books). He earned his doctorate in Business Administration (Finance) from Utkal University, India, and his MBA (Finance) from Berhampur University, India. Dr Sahu is a regular contributor of papers to reputable international conferences across the globe. He has reviewed papers for international journals like the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology and African Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science Research. Dr Sahu is also a member of International Public Management Network.
