New Delhi, 24 October 2005 - Universitas 21 Global, the world's premier online Graduate School, got together global academic luminaries representing its 16-member consortium for the first time in India. With this illustrious congregation, Universitas 21 Global underscored its global academic strength and the value Universitas 21 Global brings to global higher education.
With the dynamics of the economy changing globally and India playing a bigger role in the global economy as well as the rising demand for higher educational qualifications, these experts assembled to emphasize the need for vision in education. Among those luminaries present included Professor Sir Colin Campbell, President and Vice-Chancellor of University of Nottingham; Mr. Ian Marshman, Senior Vice-Principal of University of Melbourne; Professor Stuart McCutcheon, Vice Chancellor of University of Auckland; and Mr. Eric Shuman, President and CEO of Lifelong Learning Group, Thomson Learning.
